Trisha Yearwood - Live At the Frederick (The Fred) Brown Jr Amphitheater Friday, September 12, 2008

August 27, 2008 by Greg Saunders

Looking for a perfect ending to a great summer?  How about a Trisha Yearwood concert?  That’s right, Trisha Yearwood is coming to the Frederick (The Fred) Brown Jr Amphitheater on Friday, September 12, 2008

If you don’t know Trish Yearwood, her music or famous recipes then you must live on another planet whether you like country music or not.  It did not hurt that Trisha Yearwood sung two of Garth Brooks’ songs on her debut album but the Georgia-born Yearwood needs no embellishment to shine. Yearwood, who grew up imitating Linda Ronstadt, may not be a Martina McBride but she has demonstrated technical and emotional authority at every turn. Talent, dreams and determination are an intoxicating little cocktail. It’s a recipe that has served to propel a lithesome Georgia blonde from local honky tonks to the world’s most prestigious stages. For Trisha Yearwood, there was never any other path but music.

So what’s next for this talented temptress of song after three Grammys, three Country Music Association honors, and 19 top ten singles to her credit, including such career-defining hits  as “She’s in Love With the Boy,” “Perfect Love,” and “How Do I Live.  Well Trish is not one to just sit on her hinny all day and watch soaps. Her latest hit CD (I know we use to call them albums) Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love has critics raving that this may be her greatest one yet.

Trisha Yearwood’s latest single, “They Call It Falling For A Reason” is currently climbing the charts, and it was discovered that the track stood out in a big way because Trisha and Producer Garth Fundis decided to do something they never do – use the demo recording for the final version on the record. Other songs such as “Nothin’ ‘Bout Memphis, a slow passionate and soulful song displaying the vocals that Trisha has perfected and “Let The Wind Chase You” which features some help on vocals from superstar Keith Urban.

Don’t miss your opportunity to see Trisha Yearwood at the FRED  (Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater, 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, Georgia.  Gold seats are $67.00; Reserved are $52.00; The Lawn is $34.00 and for groups a Picnic Table is $402.00.  Gates open at 6:30pm.
