Uniquely Home! - WoodCreek
August 23, 2008 by Greg Saunders
The WoodCreek subdivision located at the southern border of Peachtree City, is a special place where rural beauty and tradition have been steeped in southern values and culture and meticulously fused with ultra modern urban amenities. WoodCreek is also one of the premier swim and tennis communities in Peachtree City, Georgia. Since its inception in 1994, this tree-lined community of approximately 218 homes has distinguished itself as a family community with various social activities and exceptional recreation facilities.
WoodCreek’s is indeed a pearl nestled in Atlanta’s Southern
Crescent Region offering an abundance of leisure activities, cordial neighbors, gracious homes, impressive landscaping and top-ranked schools. This coveted quality of life offered by Peachtree City has been accomplished through a very long history of comprehensive and strategic planning. Get in your golf cart and explore the WoodCreek community! Have fun as you wind through wooded retreats; visit the fantastic tennis & volleyball facilities; splash with the family and friends in the pool; or just park your golf cart, kick back and relax in the serenity of your own backyard.
Most WoodCreek children attend the highly acclaimed Fayette County public schools, consistently ranked among the best in Georgia. Both middle schools, Peeples Elementary and Rising Starr Middle School have been recognized as top achieving schools, and Starr’s Mill High School has been dubded a Georgia School of Excellence. All three schools have earned statewide accountability awards for having the highest percentage of students meeting and exceeding achievement standards.
Membership of the WoodCreek Homeowners Association (HOA) consists of every person who is the record owner of any lot in the WoodCreek subdivision. WoodCreek residents are full members, and membership is required of all homeowners. For 2008, annual dues for WoodCreek residents are $650 per household. Homes in WoodCreek run from the upper $300,000s to the upper $500,000s.
