Thinking About A Mortgage Modification? Freddie Mac has Video Assistance via YouTube!
July 8, 2009 by Greg Saunders
Hey Peachtree City! A lot of homeowners either behindin their mortgage or find that their homes are under water are seriously considering a mortgage modification. However, I think the biggest complaints revolve around the arduous amounts of paperwork required by the banks and mortgage companies. All this confusion coupled with being bombarded by so many companies stalking you and promising to assist with your loan modification has led many needy homeowners to become sceptical and abandon seeking assistance.
But there is now video assistance compliments of Freddie Mac and YouTube. The video calmly walks you through the process and dutifully advises on what documents your mortgage company or bank will require from you. Some of these documents are as follows:
W-2 statements; Recent pay stubs; federal income tax statement(s); the most recent copy of your mortgage statement; home equity lines of credit or 2nd mortgage; credit card statements and other debt that you may owe.
The presentation is available in both English and Spanish. Click on link below to view the video. I’d be interested in getting your commentary. The results will be featured in a follow-up to this post.
